It’s nearly dark.
Hopefully the seagulls are thinking about going to bed and I can go out to feed.
It’s like wishing my life away but I do look forward to darker nights. ... See MoreSee Less
Ir`s not getting dark till 10 pm now , here.,and it`s not midsummer yet.
Someone needs to invent a seagull proof cat feeder! I’d buy one!
Peace for a while.

Remember the song ?
Michu is tonight headed home to the Bowling Green in Salgar where she is a much loved member of the team.
She sometimes sits in the green , getting in the way.
A few weeks back she had some kind of accident and ended up with a damaged paw which needed to be amputated.
She reminded me of a much loved cat that was of the first I rescued.
Also a Tortie we called her Tripod. Apart from the broken paw she had a broken jaw. Presumably an RTA well two actually as the paw was an old injury.
She was very special. Was already middle aged when I took her home. She took all the kittens under her stump!
Anyway back to Michu.
She has been staying with me for nearly 2 weeks.
She had her stitches out tonight and has gone home with Elaine Villalba . ... See MoreSee Less
She is beautiful. Glad she has recovered well
I do hope you can have a good nights sleep now Janice! We owe you big time for looking after Her - the other 2 sisters were actually at the gate when we got back, as if they knew She was coming.......they could probably hear her shouting from the cage in my car!!
Michu is lucky to have friends like Janice, Elaine and Juan Carlos and to have the company of her two sisters now💓💓💓.
I remember Tripod!
Happy Ending ❤️🐈
Lovely girl, showing her lovely claws!
Beautiful. Managed to cuddle one of the accidental kittens this morning at the donkeys. A beautiful ginger. Trying to get them send to being handled
Out in the sticks filling up two feeders for our colony up at Binillauti.
They were waiting when I got there.
We’ve been feeding and neutering cats up here for close to 20 years. ... See MoreSee Less
Sorry everyone. Not had time to post.
It’s that time of year. Fighting toms, so trips to vets.
Kittens popping up.
New colonies to fit in including one with 6 kittens who are half the weight they should be and the mothers and adults stick thin.
Some deep sadness at home , two deaths , both unexpected. And a third expected but seemed to be doing well.
Two lots of good news in very poorly cats who have made a good recovery.
A lovely black cat fell out of a tree in Mahon.
Yes really. Our wonderful vet picked him up from my house on the Saturday night at 10.30.
We don’t get through many weekends without a vet visit.
A little girl with an amputated paw who might be going home tonight if her stitches come out.
Last Sunday. No rest fir the wicked. Cat with a very badly damaged eye. One of some 18 hungry cats I had to trap without all the others going in.
Can’t go out to feed until 21.30 so come back and go straight to bed.
Good job the 23.00 curfew is finished.
Will be back to tell all ASAP. ... See MoreSee Less
You are one of the kindest, caring people I know, without you and your helpers Menorca would have thousands of stray, starving cats who would suffer. Thank you for all you do Janice xx
Some of the things you see must be unbearable for a cat lover like you. I don’t know how you manage it. You’re a very special person Janice. X
What couple of weeks I have lost 3 in my colonies 2 to cars, and one to an infection. I also lost my lovely Mollie last Thursday due to a liver problem. She was 6 I had her since she was dumped at about 6 weeks from one of my colonies. She was a ball of fluff so much hair and long whiskers too, but with attitude, miss the little princess she was always under my feet.
Is the cat cafe open in the next couple of weeks. If not I will pop round and leave some cat food in the garden. Do you still use the Lidl one. Can you text me the one you prefer please xx
Poor Janice so much work x
You are a star 🌟
Thank you for all you do. The cats are so lucky to have you x
It’s going to be a long night.
I have stereo cats crying. And they really are left and right.
One in my bathroom who poor soul had paw amputated on Thursday and in the cat room one who gave birth to a dead kitten and one who died just after birth and who had cysts on her Ovaries .
They are not in pain, have had their supper , are comfortable and safe but just don’t want to be alone.
And in the other bathroom across the hall a 7 week old kitten who is answering them.
I need some ear plugs. Or somewhere else to sleep. ... See MoreSee Less
Janice, you are a Star and we owe you big time for taking care of Mishu until we can take her home again - hopefully as soon as her stitches are out!
So sorry. It's a hard road you travel. 😰 God Bless you all. Xxx
Could the 7 week old kitten go in with the the mum who lost her babies
How is little Mishu getting on Janice?
Thank you Janice, we really appreciate you having Mishu since her op. She and her sisters have been our Club Mascots for some years now and we miss her joining in the games ....... even when she refuses to leave.....😂
Poor you x
I really want to go to bed.
But cats not allowed.
If I open the door to chase Beastie out how many more will get in. ... See MoreSee Less
He's lovely 😍
A real dillema. Do you have more than one bedroom? Go to bed, leave the door open, let the cats in, let them settle, then dash off to another bedroom and close the door. Good idea?!!!!! x x x x x
One night won't harm will it? xx
Bet she stayed in ❤️ she’s a clever girl knows your dilemma
Aww let him stay for just one night lol 😆
